Terms of Service
These terms govern web development services provided by SKITE. Specific project terms are defined in individual statements of work or proposals.
Services
SKITE provides custom web development services including website design and build, web application development, integrations, and related technical consulting. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for each engagement are defined in a written project plan agreed before work begins.
Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, projects follow a 50/50 milestone payment structure: 50% due at planning sign-off when development begins, and 50% due before final handover and go-live. Invoices are payable within the terms stated on each invoice.
Ownership
Upon receipt of final payment, ownership of custom code, design assets, and content created specifically for your project transfers to you, subject to any third-party licenses for open-source or commercial components used in the build.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback, content, credentials, and approvals needed to keep the project on schedule. Delays in client-side deliverables may affect timelines without penalty to SKITE.
